During his career, Uttam has held leadership roles at Accruent, Centurylink, and Dell. He started his career at IBM as an industrial engineer. He holds an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business and BS in Industrial Engineering from Polytechnic Institute/New York University.

Since joining AWS in 2016, Jackson has successfully launched, scaled, and led multiple vertical industry businesses that drive social impact in highly regulated environments, resulting in seamless enterprise adoption, effective digital transformations, and unparalleled customer experiences. Prior to joining AWS, Jackson served as General Manager of Consumer Health at Intel Corporation, providing executive leadership, vision, and go-to-market strategy for growth in healthcare markets worldwide. Michael also sits on the Executive Board of the TurboVote Challenge and represent AWS on the Election Infrastructure Subsector Coordinating Council (EI-SCC), established the Department of Homeland Security and Election Assistance Commission. Jackson is also a proud veteran of the US Coast Guard and serves on the Board of Directors at Health Care for the Homeless, a non-profit organization in Baltimore, MD.
