Town Receives Grant to Get High-speed Internet

Rural Madison county received a grant of $1.8 million to install high-speed Internet in the town where existing internet currently is.

A Representative in the area backed the idea because he feels that the community needed it for economic development in the future.

A company will begin to hang power lines in the area near businesses and residential homes. Residents will now be able to view videos, stream music and whatever else they will need.

Residents in the community are very excited to be able to receive new Internet connection for their convenience and because it will generate new jobs in the area.
