Account Executive

Helping customers articulate their requirements and develop sound technology strategies is Mike’s bread and butter. Mike Reed was previously a Principal Consultant at Talkative Technologies LLC where he engaged a variety of clients on AWS cloud migrations,  mobile application development, and business process transformation. Mike works as DoubleHorn’s Account Executive and Solutions Architect to build solutions to help migrate and manage our customer’s data in the cloud.

He also previously worked at other technology companies including Mobile Iron, Forsythe Technologies, and Apple. Mike, also brings a solid blend of channel sales leadership, business acumen, and technical ability to Doublehorn as the Account Executive and Solutions Architect for our Cloud Advisory Services.

Mike is a first-generation Texan and in addition to his technology background, he is an 18-year paramedic, maintaining his licensure part-time in Harris County.  In his spare time, he is a nationally-ranked competitive action-pistol shooter, pistol instructor, and range safety officer.  No stranger to the media, you may have seen Mike on Monday Night Football last year transporting J. J. Watt to the hospital after a season-ending injury.  You may also have seen him on KEYE last week as part of a story about “cord-cutters,” people moving to streaming-only video services.

Along with multiple undergraduate degrees, Mike holds a Master’s Degree in Management and Leadership from Tarleton State University (an A&M family school).
