About The Austin Cattle Baron’s Ball
The Austin Cattle Baron’s Ball has been the primary fundraiser for the High Plains Division of the American Cancer Society since 1993. Proceeds from the Ball, fund almost $300,000 in cancer research and patient services annually. In recent years, more than $1,600,000 has gone to cancer research in Austin.

Besides the research efforts, funds go toward support services such as patient transportation to treatment, providing hotel rooms for out-of-town patients and their families, survivor support group meetings, and summertime camps for children with cancer.

Much progress has been made over the past few years in cancer awareness and research. But the search for a cure is far from over…
